A British crew member was in need of urgent medical care and a passenger from the UK remained in a critical but stable condition following a suspected outbreak of hantavirus on a luxury cruise ship in the Atlantic Ocean.
Three people have died and medics on Monday were scrambling to evacuate two others from the MV Hondius, which set off in March from southern Argentina carrying 149 people from 23 countries. The crisis emerged late on Sunday after the World Health Organization (WHO) said it was investigating a suspected outbreak.

Doze pessoas estão presas após a explosão em uma mina legal de carvão nesta segunda-feira (4), na Colômbia. Segundo o governo regional, o acidente ocorreu "aparentemente por acúmulo de gases".

A explosão aconteceu em Sutatausa, município localizado a cerca de 74 quilômetros ao norte de Bogotá.
Inicialmente, 15 mineiros ficaram presos. Três foram retirados com vida, informou uma fonte do governo regional à AFP. Dois estão fora de perigo e um recebeu atendimento médico.
Equipes de resgate foram enviadas ao local. Imagens divulgadas pelo governador mostram ambulâncias posicionadas na entrada da mina. Segundo o governador de Cundinamarca, Jorge Emilio Rey, os trabalhadores estão a cerca de 600 metros de profundidade.
As autoridades avaliam a concentração de gases antes de iniciar as operações de resgate.
Acidentes em minas são frequentes no país e costumam ser fatais, sobretudo em explorações de carvão e em operações ilegais ou artesanais.
