The 30-year-old was already leading several statistical categories coming into the final on Sunday. He pushed them higher than perhaps even Luis de la Fuente could have hoped.

O presidente dos EUA, Donald Trump, publicou uma nova ameaça ao regime iraniano nesta segunda-feira (20). Segundo o republiano, Teerã vai pagar "muitas vezes mais" por todos os combatentes americanos que forem mortos no conflito.
"Toda vez que o Irã matar um soldado americano, pagará por essa morte muitas vezes mais. Essa diretriz já foi repassada ao secretário da Guerra, Pete Hegseth, ao presidente do Estado-Maior Conjunto, Daniel Caine, e a todos os líderes das Forças Armadas", afirmou, na postagem.

A mensagem acontece em meio a uma escalada das tensões entre os dois países, após a a morte de três militares dos EUA. Dois morreram em uma base militar na Jordânia e um no norte do Iraque, durante a detonação controlada de uma munição não detonada.
Como resposta, no último domingo (19), as forças armadas dos EUA assumiram a autoria de um bombardeio contra a usina nuclear de Darkhovin, em construção no sudoeste do país. Os ataques também atingiram vários locais na cidade portuária de Bushehr, no sul do Irã, onde fica a única usina nuclear civil do país, informou a mídia estatal iraniana Irna.

Segundo os militares americanos, os alvos incluíram centros de comando, sistemas de defesa aérea, locais de lançamento de mísseis e drones e redes de comunicação, e a operação teve como objetivo reduzir a capacidade iraniana de atacar embarcações comerciais que transitam pelo Estreito de Ormuz.
No sábado (18), o líder supremo do Irã, aiatolá Mojtaba Khamenei, fez um apelo à unidade nacional diante do retorno das agressões mútuas entre Washington e Teerã.
